Resource Extraction
Although often seen as unglamorous and time-intensive, the extraction of crucial materials is the economic backbone of the Bubble. Without a dedicated fleet of independent contractors, the materials and resources required for the construction of stations, ships, and even colonies and settlements would not be possible. While resource extraction does fall outside the main mission statement of our security organization, DSE is an accomplished mining operation able to satisfy any needs our preferred clients may have for specific materials or minerals.
Well, not even a PvE combat junkie like me could ignore the huge LTD goldrush in Borann back in 2020. The billions I made there would collect dust in my account until 2022 when I finally got up the nerve to take the plunge and finally bought a Fleet Carrier. Mining is soul-crushingly boring sometime and I do not recommend undertaking a three-hour mining expedition in VR, but it's a great way to chill with some Netflix, too. Nice relaxing way to spend a lazy Sunday, and Inara can make it really, really lucrative.
