Being able to sorte the appropriate ship for a mission is crucial to success, and so DSE maintains this combat-equiped Alliance Chieftain in order to fill roles requiring more agility than the Mamba or Krait Mark II, or more firepower than an Eagle or Viper can provide. Specially designed for Thargoid combat, our Crossbow is an effective addition to any security detail.

I tried this ship out once and returned it the same day, but gave it another try after its derivative Crusader impressed me so much. I'm glad I gave it a second chance, because even before engineering this ship is a blast to fly in RES's. It has a drag that many commanders don't like, but I love how I can make it dance through those asteroids.
